When it comes to hip hop, 5FM's C-Live is the unsurpassed guru. The Durban-born mix DJ and radio personality joined 5FM in 2010 when the station launched the popular Power Nites shows, dedicated specialised dance, pop, rock and hip hop shows. C-Live, host of the Power Nite of Hip Hop, says, "My 5FM show is all about hip hop and my aim is to push local hip hop artists as hard as international ones."
1) I'm not just into rap music - you might be surprised to hear l'm also a big Oasis fan.
2) My biggest musical influences are Busta Rhymes, B.I.G, and Teargas.
3) One of the coolest trips l've been, on was when I went to Addis Ababa last year to perform at an African leadership summit. I got to see the royal palace of King Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia.
4) I'd love to travel more of Africa, especially Kenya.
5) My kids think I'm a superhero.
