I'll never be able to fully put into words how much all this "Hip-Hop is dead" talk annoys me. Imagine all the work that event organizers do, all the writing and rehearsing that battle rappers go through, all the sleepless nights trying to get a song right as an MC or producer, all the emails we go through to find dope MCs to put on our platforms... only to have some person, who is never outside and probably still thinks Ja Rule is the biggest rapper in the world, tell us "Hip-Hop is dead".

I am literally on my way to a cypher as I type this and I guarantee you all the people who wait for MTV to tell them who their favourites should be won't be there.
